Loved the quirky interior with cozy corners. The real ales selection rocked my world, and those quality toiletries were a good touch!

The location is charming, and the staff are genuinely friendly, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The room was cozy and immaculate, providing a warm atmosphere to relax after a day of exploring the local food and beer festival. as a vegetarian, the limited dining options were disappointing, and I found the sole meatless main course overpriced. While breakfast offered a delightful start, the lack of variety for dietary preferences was evident.

What a find! ! The restaurant served exceptional food – that Sunday roast was proper lush, and the full English breakfast was bang on! The staff were a real charm, making us feel right at home in this cozy, olde worldy pub.

Charming outdoor views, beautifully landscaped grounds, rustic decor interspersed with modern amenities
The constant noise from the church bells every quarter hour made sleep nearly impossible!!! It's perplexing that the bar closes at 10pm — not the ideal time for winding down after a long day!!!

Just a decent option for a brief pit stop in Nantwich with real value for money. The food in the pub was excellent and good value. Be prepared for a few church bells through the night.

Just a great fit for an overnight stay in Nantwich with reasonable price. The full English breakfast was fantastic with great coffee. Be mindful of the plug sockets by the bedside.

The family room offered a decent amount of space with its private bathroom. Natural wood beams and a cozy layout added character, making it a pleasant place to regroup after a day out.
The constant chiming of church bells throughout the night can be a real disruptor to sleep, especially for the light sleepers. The pub's early closing time of 10 PM limits options for those who might want a late-night drink or snack, with the only source of late-night entertainment being your own room. On top of that, the lighting in the room left much to be desired—dim and lacking natural light, working or reading became a challenge with the odd placement of fixtures. A little more attention to these details could elevate the overall experience.
